John was trained as a scenic and lighting designer and works “professionally” at the Museum of Science and Industry where he produces exhibits. He has worked “theatrically” in New York, Boston, Dallas, and London. His local design credits include work here at Vision & Voices and its previous life as Empire Theatre Co., as well as Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co., Light Opera Works, Bowen Park Opera, Bowen Park Theatre Co., Pyewacket, Up & Coming Theatre Co., Schaumburg On Stage, Concrete Theatre Co., New Trier High School, the Illinois All-State Theatre Festival, Terrapin and others.
